About Our Congregation

The Windermere Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses has deep roots in one of southwest Edmonton's fastest-growing neighbourhoods. Established in the early 2000s to serve the expanding Windermere residential community, our congregation began with a small group of dedicated families meeting in private homes before establishing a permanent home at our Kingdom Hall on Terwillegar Common NW.

Today our congregation is a warm and diverse fellowship united by a shared love of God and neighbour. Members come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and life stages, yet share a common commitment to the Bible's teachings. Regular congregation meetings, group study sessions, and informal gatherings build friendships that last a lifetime.

We are a Canadian registered charity in good standing with the Canada Revenue Agency under charity registry number 744218710RR0001. Our congregation activities are fully funded by voluntary donations from members — no collections are ever taken from visitors. Contributions support local congregation needs as well as worldwide humanitarian work coordinated by Jehovah's Witnesses globally.

Whether you are longtime resident of Windermere, new to Edmonton, or simply curious about our faith, you are warmly welcome at any of our meetings. No appointment is needed, there is no dress code, and you will never be pressured or asked for money. Come as you are — we look forward to meeting you.
